Applications in the prescribed format are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for recruitment to the following posts on South Central Railway against Cultural Quota.

(1) Carnatic Music ( Vocal )

Group’C’

Rs 5200 – 20200 -Grade pay 1900/2000

( Veena / Violin )

How to apply:

i) Candidates should carefully read all the instructions given in the employment notification before filling the application form.

ii) Application shall be submitted on good quality white plain A4 size paper in the format given as Annexure-I in the Employment Notice.

iii) The application should be filled in with capital letters either in English or Hindi only.

iv) The application form should be filled by the applicant in his own handwriting using a blue or black ball point pen only.

v) Serving Government employees should send their applications through proper channel duly forwarded by their controlling official. The last date will not be extended on account of delay in transmission of the application by the concerned office. However an advance copy of the application can also be submitted.

vi) Candidates belonging to SC / ST community shall submit their attested xerox copies of community certificates as issued by the appropriate State Government authorities.

Whom to address:

i) The filled in application form along with its enclosures should be sent by ordinary post only in a cover addressed to “ The Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), IVth Floor, Office of Chief Personnel Officer, Rail Nilayam, South Central Railway, Secunderabad – 500071”.

ii) On the envelope it should be clearly written in bold capital letters “ APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT IN GROUP’C’ POST AGAINST CULTURAL QUOTA – EMPLOYMENT NOTICE NO: SCR/PERS/CULTURAL/01/2008”.

iii) The applications shall reach this office on or before closing date. Applications received after closing date will not be entertained. South Central Railway will not be responsible for any postal delay or wrong deliveries.

Application Fee: Rs.40/-

i) Mode of payment: to be paid in the form of a crossed demand draft(DD) on scheduled banks or through a crossed Indian postal order (IPO) (purchased on or after the date of publication of the employment notification ) drawn in favour of FA&CAO, South Central Railway payable at Secunderabad.

ii) The candidate should write the following details in the space provided for sender’s name in the case of postal order and on the reverse in the case of Demand Draft:

Employment notice number, name of the post applied for, Name of the candidate and address.

iii) Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities, ExServicemen and Physically challenged are fully exempted from payment of examination fees.
