Applications are invited on the prescribed form available in the office of undersigned on payment of Rs.200/- in shape of Bank Draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. alongwith attested copies of certificates for one position of Junior Research Fellowship provided in the scheme, DBT Programme Support for Research & Development in Agricultural Biotechnology” CSS-12 (PC-6007) Sub Project: “Genetics Transforamtion of Citrus rootstock and event evaluation for tolerance to salinity” @ Rs.14,000/- per month fixed +HRA 20%( Junior Research Fellowhship) for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme which ever is earlier.

Qualification For the positions of Junior Research Fellowship

B.Sc. with second division i.e. at least 50% marks.

M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Genetics/Plant Breeding/Plant Breeding & Genetics/Plant Breeding,Genetics &
Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Botany/Horticulture/Plant Pathology/Entomology, with at least 6.50/10.00 OCPA or 65% marks.

Applicant should be a bonafide Ph.D. student of PAU and be willing to work for thesis work under the project mandate.

NOTE: In case, a suitable Ph.D. student is not available, the fellowship could be offered as full time fellowship at given emoluments.

The candidate should appear for interview on 28/06/2013 at 10.30 A.M. in the office of the undersigned.
