Note:

i) Teaching posts carry UGC pay scales.

ii) For Sr. No. 1, 2 and 4 candidates who have not passed Punjabi in Matriculation examination will be required to pass Punjabi upto Matriculation level or equivalent as per University norms within two years of joining, failing which they will not be confirmed in their posts.

iii) For Sr. No. 3, 5 to 12, 14 and 15 candidates must have passed Punjabi in Matriculation examination or equivalent examination as per University rules.

iv) Candidates already in service should send their applications through proper channel. However, an advance copy alongwith required certificates/Detail marks cards/ documents may be sent directly.

v) University reserves the right to fill up or not to fill up the posts and to call only suitable candidates for interview.Number of posts may also vary. Separate form should be sent for each post of every department/college.

vi) Qualifications etc are available on the University website punjabiuniversity.ac.in or can be obtained from the Incharge, University Enquiry & Information Centre, Punjabi University, Patiala.

Application form can be obtained from the Incharge, University Enquiry & Information Centre, Punjabi University, Patiala-147002, on payment of Rs. 200/-for teaching posts at Sr. No 1, 2 and 4 and Rs. 100/- for non-teaching posts at the counter or by sending a demand draft in favour of the Registrar, Punjabi University, Patiala, to Incharge, University Enquiry & Information Centre alongwith a self-addressed envelope (25 x 10 cms) affixed with the postage stamps worth Rs. 25/- and indicating on it the name of the post applied for. It can also be downloaded from the University website punjabiuniversity.ac.in and sent to the University alongwith a demand draft of Rs.200/- for teaching post and Rs. 100/- for non-teaching post in favour of Registrar, Punjabi University, Patiala. Payable at Patiala.
