Recruitment of Control Room Operators, Armourers and Pharmacists

State Bank of India invites applications from Indian citizens for appointment in the Clerical Cadre posts of Control Room Operators (CROs), Armourers and Pharmacists in State Bank Group. The vacancies mentioned against the each posts are state-wise, provisional and may vary according to the actual requirement of the Bank. Merit list will be drawn up State-wise, category-wise and candidates will be posted in the state from which he/she is applying for the 'posts' and will not be entitled for inter/intra-state transfer in the first 10 years of services. However, candidates not getting selected in his/her domiciled state at bank's discretions may be asked to opt for any other deficit state, if qualifies and called for. Bank, however, reserves the right to utilize their option or not.

Control Room Operators: (CROs)

Educational Qualification: Minimum Qualification - Pass in Class 10+2 examination or equivalent with 60% marks or Armed Forces Special Certificate equivalent to Class 10+2.

Armourer : (Reserved for Ex-servicemen)

Education Qualification: Minimum - Pass in Class 10+2 examination or equivalent or Armed Forces certificate equivalent to 10+2

Pharmacists

Educational Qualification: Pass in SSC or its equivalent examination and minimum Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) from recognized University or Board. Candidates with degree in Pharmacy will be preferred.

Application for the 20 posts of P/ASIs in Chandigarh Police

Candidates are advised to go through these guidelines/instructions minutely before applying - on line - for the post of ASI in Chandigarh Police.

Bank Draft Number and name of the Bank are mandatory fields in the application form. Therefore, candidates are advised that before starting filling up - on line application form - they must get a bank draft prepared from a bank for Rs.l00/- payable at Chandigarh in favor of "Section Officer/Accounts, UT Police Headquarters Sector 9-D, Chandigarh."

After online data entry, candidate will click the “submit and print” option at the end of the on line form and two copies of the print out (application form) will be taken out. One copy of the application form will be sent to “The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Lines. Police Lines, Sector 26, Chandigarh-160026” and the second copy will be retained by the candidate for his/her record and to be shown at the time of Physical Efficiency/Measurement Test and Interview etc. Before sending the downloaded/printed application form, Candidate will affix one latest Passport-size Photograph on the form and duly signed - along with Bank Draft of Rs.l00/- and photocopy of required testimonials will send through Registered post at the above address by 15.10.2009. Those desirous to submit downloaded and printed application forms personally instead of by registered post, can deposit the same in the Police Lines, Sector-26, Chandigarh by 15.10.2009 from 10 AM to 5 PM (except Sundays and Gazetted Holidays). The candidates must understand that the last date for applying for the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector in Chandigarh Police is 30.9.2009 and the last date 15-10-2009 is only for the purpose of submission of hard copy of application.
