Project Name: Cross lingual Information Access (CLIA)

Summary of the Project: To develop evaluation frameworks for cross lingual information retrieval systems (search engines) in Indian languages.
Position: Project Personnel Category A
Total Number of Posts: 02
Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech./MCA/MSc/M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology or Electronics and Communication Engineering (or a related discipline).
Desirable: Background in Information Retrieval/Natural Language Processing/ Computational Linguistics.
Work experience
A valid GATE score
Salary:
B.E./B.Tech/MCA/MSc – Minimum Rs. 16,000 per month + HRA (if applicable)
M.E/M.Tech – Minimum Rs. 20,000 per month +HRA (if applicable)
A higher starting salary can be offered to candidates having desirable experience listed above.
Duration: 2 years (with an initial appointment for one year and possible renewal for two more years with increment based on the availability of funds and performance).
