(a) Only Male candidates need to apply. Females need not apply.

(b) A candidate must be either :-

(i) a citizen of India, OR a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

(c) Centre for trade test

(i) Candidates residing in the states of Uttrakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi & Jammu & Kashmir will mention their trade test centre as Rishikesh zone.

(ii) Candidates residing in the states of Orissa , West Bengal, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, Bihar, Sikkim, Assam and all other states of North- Eastern region i.e. Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland , Arunachal Pradesh & Tripura will mention their trade test centre as Tezpur zone

(iii) Candidates residing in all other states i.e Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Goa, Gujrat, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andaman Nicobar Islands & Pondichery which are not mentioned in above two zones ie Rishikesh zone and Tezpur zone will mention their trade test centre as Pune Zone.

Requirement of Assistant Managers (Safety)

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), a Joint venture company with equity participation from Govt. of India and Govt. of National Capital Territory of Delhi, has been entrusted with the responsibility of implementation of the rail based Mass Rapid Transit System for Delhi. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), the lifeline of Delhi, prides itself on its ability to nurture its employees through its unique work culture. Today DMRC empowered by about 7500 employees with MRTS activities spread over Delhi, NCR, Kochi & Jaipur etc., carry about two million passengers per day in Delhi and NCR.

Applications are invited from dynamic, experienced and highly motivated Civil/Mechanical Engineers with full time course of at least one year duration in Safety Engineering /Management. The appointment shall be on direct recruitment basis as per details mentioned below. The immediate requirement for Asst. Manager (Safety) is for Delhi and Kochi, however the selected candidates can be posted in any of the DMRC project offices in Delhi, NCR, Kochi & Jaipur etc.

Asst. Manager (Safety)

Eligibility:

(A) Civil Engineering Degree with first class with full time course of at least one year duration in Safety Engineering/Safety Management.

Or

(B) Mechanical Engineering Degree with first class with full time course of at least one year duration in Safety Engineering/ Safety Management

The Common Aptitude Test will be held on 13th July’2013 (Saturday).
