Junior Research Fellow

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for 1 [One] position of Junior Research Fellow on a temporary contractual basis in Department of ICMR, New Delhi project entitled "Characterization and transferability of antibiotic resistance genes in lactic acid bacteria from poultry and meat products" (GAP-0402) tenable at Food Microbiology Department, CSIR-CFTRI, Mysore, Karnataka.
Essential Qualification: First Class M.Sc. in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology with good academic records and should have been qualified for lectureship in National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by CSIR-UGC. (Candidates with experience in Molecular Biology of lactic acid bacteria will be preferred)

Emoluments: Rs.16,000/- per month for first two years and Rs.18,000/- per month in the 3rd year plus HRA as per ICMR/CSIR Rules.
