Essential Qualifications:

(i) MBBS degree from a recognized University.

Age Limit:

Not exceeding 35 years as on 31.3.2011. Relax-able up to 5 years for Government servants and SC/ST/OBC candidates in accordance with the instructions issued by the Department of Personnel and Training from time to time in this regard. One time Age relaxation shall also be provided to project staff working in ICMR Institute/Centres.

Desirable Qualifications:

(i) Doctorate or MD in Medicine, PSM ,ENT, Orthopedics, Endocrinology, Psychiatry, Chest diseases or other fields relevant to NCD from a recognized University with first class in relevant field.

(ii) Additional Post doctoral research/teaching experience in relevant subjects from recognized institute(s)

(iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications/Data Management
