Advertisement for the post of 2 Research Fellow and 1 Special Educator in The Department of Psychology

Applications are invited in plain paper along with one set of biodata and all testimonials duly attested for the post of 2 Junior Research Fellows and 1 Special Educator initially for one year extendable for another 2 years for Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of West Bengal sponsored project, entitled “Development of a Diagnostic tool for Clinical Assessment of Specific Learning Disability and Prevalence of Specific Learning Disability in Bengali, Hindi and English medium primary school going children in West Bengal” under the supervision of Prof. Pritha Mukhopadhyay, Principal Investigator, Department of Psychology, University of Calcutta.

Department of Marine Science

Interested eligible candidates are requested to appear in an Walk-in-Interview on 02.01.2012 in the office of the Head, Department of Marine Science, University of Calcutta, 35 Ballygaunge Circular Road, Kolkata 700019 for selection of 1 RA (III), in the project entitled “ “….Study of carbon stock and response of estuarine phytoplankton to iron fertilization…..” funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, under the guidance of Dr. Abhijit Mitra, Department of Marine Science, C.U.

Research Associate (III): M.Sc (Marine Science), Ph.D with sufficient experience in marine related research. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the sphere of water quality analysis and aquaculture. Candidate should be well equipped in working in Indian Sundarbans. Relevant publications in peer-reviewed journals will be an added advantage.
