JRF/SRF position in CSIR sponsored project in Dept. of Chemistry

Applications are invited form the motivated candidates with Master degree in chemistry / equivalent degree in related fields, who want to pursue Ph.D. programme in synthetic organic chemistry / heterogeneous catalysis. He/She may be awarded fellowship from CSIR funded project entitled “Synthesis of Metal-Organic-Porous-Material Based Efficient Chiral Heterogeneous Catalysts by Post-Synthetic Modification and Their Applications in Asymmetric Reactions” (Project no. 02(0075)/12/EMR-II) according to their qualifications. Candidates with knowledge in material chemistry and hand-on experience in synthetic organic chemistry will be given precedence.

For Junior Research Fellow:

Qualification: First Class in M Sc. (chemistry) / equivalent degree and NET / valid GATE qualification.

Monthly Stipend: Rs. 16000/- pm for first two year and Rs 18000/- pm for third year.

Accommodation / HRA is admissible as per the norms of CSIR.

For Senior Research Fellow:

Qualification: First Class in M Sc. (chemistry) / equivalent degree with at least 60% marks & one publication in SCI Journal and should have completed at least 2 years of post M.Sc. research experience.

Monthly Stipend: Rs. 18000/- pm for first two year and Rs 20000/- pm for third year.

Accommodation / HRA is admissible as per the norms of CSIR.
