Jadavpur University

Applications are invited for the following purely temporary, project-linked posts in the School of Cultural Texts and Records, Jadavpur University, for a project to prepare an online variorum edition of the works of Rabindranath Tagore, funded by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

All posts will be for an initial period of one year, including a review of performance with scope for termination after two months. They may be renewed for a further one year, but no more.

Age limit: 35 years for all posts, relaxable for candidates of exceptional merit or work experience.

(A) Project Supervisor: 2 posts

(B) Project Operators: 26 posts

(C) Administrative Assistants: 2 posts

Applications on prescribed form for Project Staff, obtainable from the University Information Office on payment of Rs.50, should be submitted directly to the School of Cultural Texts and Records (UG Arts/Science Building, 3rd floor, near Film Studies Department) on working days between 11-30 a.m. and 4-30 p.m. Candidates applying for more than one category of post should submit a separate application for each category. Copies of mark-sheets, testimonials from referees etc. are not needed at this stage.
