Requires Head-IT

He/She will have to lead a team of technical staff members to manage the IT development initiatives at the Institute as well as its IT infrastructure on a day to day basis. He/She will need to contribute to enhancing the overall productivity of various academic activities by crafting an appropriate strategy for bringing new technologies to the campus and integrate these technologies with specific needs of the Institute. Routine administrative tasks will include responsibility for the maintenance of appropriate documents and records related to IT infrastructure, facilities and usage.

Person for the position of Head-IT is expected to have appropriate qualification and have minimum of 15 years of professional experience out of which 10 years must be in the field of IT. He/She is expected to have at least 3-5 years of experience in the senior IT position, leading a team of technical staff members, for an IT setup with more than 500 node network. This would be a contractual appointment and compensation will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
