Project Vacancy Walk In Interview
Applications are invited for temporary position under project no. GP-342, entitled “New Approaches to Target Tuberculosis” funded by Indo-European Union under the supervision of Prof. Prati Pal Singh in the Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology. The vacancies for the project are:
Junior Research Fellow
Education Qualifications: First Class marks/grades in aggregate in M.Sc. biochemistry, biotechnology, zoology, microbiology, life sciences, M. Pharm. in biotechnology or pharmacology, preferably with NET/GATE
The above position is purely temporary initially for one year, extendable upto 3 years based on the performance of the candidate and are co-terminus with the project. The post is contractual in nature & does not hold right to permanency Walk in Interview will be held on 27.10.09 at 10.00 a.m. in the Chamber of Prof. P. P. Singh in F-Block of this Institute. Candidates should bring three copies of the application containing the following (a) detailed C.V., (b) reprints of selected research publications, if any, (d) letter of intent and research interest, (e) attested copies of degrees and mark sheets, and (f) proof of experience, if any. Candidate should provide details of their residential address (e-mail, Tel , mobile Nos.) along with a demand draft of Rs. 100 /- (Rs. 50 /- for SC/ST & PH candidates) in favour of “Director , NIPER”, payable at Mohali or Chandigarh. No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the interview. Candidates for JRF are encouraged to appear in NIPER, Ph.D. admission test after fulfilling the necessary eligibility criteria. Age relaxation for reserved category is as per GOI rules. CANVASSING IN ANY FORM WILL BE TREATED AS DISQUALIFICATION FOR THE POST. Director NIPER reserves the right to cancel the recruitment without assigning any reason thereof. No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-Interview.
