Walk in Interview has been fixed on 30.3.2010 at 11.00 A.M. in the room of the Incharge, USIC Department of Physics, H.P. University, Shimla-5 for one post of Trained Technician a fixed salary of Rs. 10000/- per month out of the NRI funds of the users departments for the maintenance and upkeep of the instruments. The appointment of Trained Technician in the first instance will be for one year and will be renewed every year subject to the performance of the candidate to be assessed by the Incharge USIC.

The minimum qualifications required for trained technician will be as under:

Diploma in Instrumentation with at least 2 years experience

or

M.Sc. Physics with Electronics specialization.

The interested candidates possessing the requisite qualifications may come to attend the interview on the above mentioned date, time and venue along with all the certificates testimonials etc. of their qualifications. The candidates must bring with his/her an application written on a plan paper along with his/her attested copies of the certificate/ testimonials etc to be given at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates coming to attend the interview.

1.Position: GIS System Analyst Emoluments: consolidated sum of Rs. 15700/- per month (Rupees fifteen thousand seven hundred only - i.e. Basic:10300 + GP: 5400)

2.Position: Image interpreter Emoluments: consolidated sum of Rs 14900/- (Rupees fourteen Thousand nine hundred only - i.e. Basic:10300 + GP: 4600) per month).

3. Position: Draughts man Emoluments: consolidated sum of Rs .8310/- (Rupees Eight Thousand three hundred and ten only - i.e. Basic:5910+ GP: 2400) per month).
