Walk in Interview to be held on 3rd July 2010 at National Institute of Medical Statistics, ICMR, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi
The following post is to be filled up on purely temporary basis at NIMS, ICMR, New Delhi in a research project entitled “An Estimation of Maternal Mortality in Rajasthan and Orissa” under Dr. Abha Aggarwal, Scientist E, NIMS, New Delhi.
Post : Senior Research Fellow (Statistics) (One)
Qualification (Essential) Postgraduate degree in Statistics / Bio-Statistics with two years research experience after M.Sc
Desirable : Working Experience in Research Institute M.Phil in Statistics. Computer skills – MS Office, Data Base Management and Internet. Knowledge of Statistical Softwares like SPSS, EPI Info, STATA etc.
Job Description : To assist in coordinating and monitoring various activities of the project. To assist in data analysis and report writing work.
Emoluments : Rs. 18200 p.m (Fixed) Emoluments may be revised subject to the revision in ICMR rules.
Age : Upto 35 years. Relaxation shall be as per Govt. of India rules.
The appointment is terminable with one month notice from either side without assigning any reason. Since the project is purely temporary, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under NIMS or continuation of their services in any other project. No benefit of Provident Fund, HRA, CCA,Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. will be considered, since the post is on purely temporary basis. Age relaxation is for SC, ST & OBC candidates as per Govt. Rules. No TA/DA etc. will be given to attend the walk-in-personal discussion/test.
