Duty hours : 6 hours daily i.e. 4 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening. Jail holidays and Sundays will be observed as holidays. In case of emergency, they shall be available at a call on short notice
Preference shall be given to the female candidates for posting at the jails where female wards exist in the jails.
