DDA has developed Sports Complexes and Golf Courses in various parts of Delhi. To manage these, retired service officers of the rank of Lt. Colonel and above, or of equivalent rank in the Air Force/Navy are required as Secretaries/Assistant Secretaries for a few of the DDA Sports Complexes and Golf Courses. Officers having sports background and experience in running clubs/institutions of similar nature would be preferred. Officers applying for Golf Courses should have experience in operations and maintenance of Golf Course. Officers would be engaged purely on contractual basis for a period of one year which can be extended/terminated by giving 30 days notice by either party. Monthly honorarium payable including travel allowances is as under :-

Secretary of Divisional Level Sports Complex/Golf Course - Rs.42,000/- p.m.

Secretary of District Level Sports Complex/Assistant Secretary of Golf Course/Divisional Level Sports Complex - Rs.36, 000/- p.m.

Educational Qualifications At least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC. A candidate belonging to Ex-servicemen category should either be a graduate from a recognized University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defence service.

Pay Scale Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs 8,860/- per month (i.e. Rs 8,040/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates only) in the scale of Rs 8,040 – 410 – 9270 – 500 – 11,270 – 550 – 13,470 – 650 – 15,420 – 720 – 16,140 – 990 – 20,100 (20 years) and other allowances, viz. Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Transport Allowance etc., as admissible from time to time. At present, initial monthly Gross emoluments for Assistants is approximately Rs 19,340/-
