Eligibility : Any retired officer who has retired after attaining the age of superannuation from Govt. of India, Haryana Govt. and other State Govt. but may not be over 65 years of age and physically fit with clear service record. Applicant should be atleast one year before attaining the age of 65 Years.

Duty hours : 6 hours daily i.e. 4 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening. Jail holidays and Sundays will be observed as holidays. In case of emergency, they shall be available at a call on short notice

Preference shall be given to the female candidates for posting at the jails where female wards exist in the jails.
