Employment Notification dated July 27, 2009
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following teaching and non teaching positions in Central University of Tiruvarur, 610001 on direct recruitment, deputation /contractual terms. It is expected that selected candidates should be able to join the University at the earliest and start the teaching programmes.
Professor (Regional Studies) (1-UR), Associate Professors in English (2-UR) Tamil (1-UR), & Assistant Professors in English (1-UR) Tamil (1-SC) & Regional studies (1-UR). Pay scale for Professor, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors is in accordance with UGC guidelines (http://www.ugc.ac.in/notices/scpteachers.pdf) and subject to further guidelines etc.
· Deputy Registrar (1-UR) (pay band Rs. 15600-39100 with grade pay Rs.7600),
Assistant Registrar (1-UR) (pay band Rs. 15600-39100 with grade pay Rs. 5400).
Essential qualifications for teaching and non teaching positions are as per existing UGC guidelines for appointment of Teachers and Officers (http://www.ugc.ac.in/polic/ugc_notificationnew.pdf). Further UGC has also notified new draft regulations (http://www.ugc.ac.in/notices/draftregulation.pdf) that may be applicable if directed by UGC. (The pay band and allowances are in accordance with UGC guidelines). Employed candidates should route their application through proper channel or produce NOC at the time of interview.
The last date for receipt of applications for teaching positions is August 23 and August 30, 2009 for non teaching positions.
