Essential Qualification : First class M.E / M. Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Instrumentation Technology from a recognized University.

Desirable Experience : Experience in the field of embedded system design is preferred.

Fellowship : Rs.18,000/- + HRA + MA per month
Rs.20,000/- + HRA + MA per month

Duration: Three years.

The posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the tenure of the program. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates if called for interview. The Fellow shall have an opportunity to specialize /enhance qualifications in this area of specialization.

Job Description The project “Human Development: Towards Bridging Inequalities” (HDBI) is a collaboration between the Planning Commission and UNDP and builds on past partnership lasting for a decade on analyzing human development at the state level. The project will focus on providing innovative policy options for tackling issues of persistent exclusion, particularly at the state level. Issues of inequality, with particular attention to gender and social inequalities will be focused upon. This would be done through preparation of next round of State Human Development Reports (SHDRs), state specific studies on growth which is inclusive and sustainable and by focusing on advocacy and capacity development. The project will address the systemic gaps in statistical systems resulting in lack of timely, reliable and comparable data which continues to be a handicap for policy formulation and planning.
