Applications in the prescribed form are invited from eligible candidates for filling up of approximate 114 posts in the Directorate General of Civil Aviation by appointment of Consultants on short-term contract basis. Retired Govt. Employees who are below 65 years as on the date publication of this advertisement can also apply for the said posts. The closing date for receipt of applications is 21 days from the date of publication of this advertisement. The exact number of posts to be filled by Consultants may change at the discretion of the Department.

CDS-II - Combined Defence Services Examination

A Combined Defence Services Examination will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on 18th September, 2011 for admission to the undermentioned courses.

1. Indian Military Academy, Dehradun 133rd Course commencing in July, 2012 - 250 [including 32 vacancies reserved for NCC ‘C’ Certificate (Army Wing) holders].

2. Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala-Course Commencing in July, 2012 Executive (General Service) - 40 {including 06 vacancies reserved for NCC 'C' Certificate holders (Naval Wing)}.

3. Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course commencing in July, 2012 i.e. No.192nd F(P) Course. - 32

4. Officers Training Academy, Chennai, 96th SSC Course (for Men) commencing in October, 2012. - 175

5. Officers Training Academy, Chennai 10th SSC Women (Non- Technical) Course commencing in October, 2012 - 25

(A) Online (From all candidates) The Online Applications can be filled upto 6th June, 2011 till 11.59 PM after which the link will be disabled.

(B) Offline (From candidates residing in specified remote areas only). All Offline Applications from candidates residing in Remote Areas only specified in para 6 of this Notice must reach the “Controller of Examinations, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069 by Post/Speed Post only by 13th June, 2011. Candidates should note that no application will be received by Hand or by Courier.
