Procurement Assistant
Location: New Delhi
Closing Date: 18th January 2012
Purpose of the post:
The incumbent will be required to; provide assistance and support services to the Procurement Specialist in the management of procurement activities, and maintain the role as Category Manager for assigned category in accordance with UNICEF standard practices.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience and competencies required:
Complete secondary school education, preferably with additional training in subjects related to the functional area. Knowledge of Windows-based software applications.
6 years of progressively responsible work experience related to procurement/ logistics / inventory management or contracting and ideally 1 year in the UN system.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) and Hindi.
