Applications are invited for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in DST, New Delhi funded research project entitled “Gene polymorphism as risk towards asthma in North Indian population” to be executed in the Department of Biotechnology, Panjab University, Chandigarh under the following terms and conditions:
Position: JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW – 1 (One)
Age limit: 28 YEARS but relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/ & women candidates
Duration: 3 YEARS
Emoluments: Rs. 12000/- during 1st & 2nd year and Rs. 14000/- during the 3rd year + 15% HRA as per University Rules
Qualification: M.Sc in Biological Sciences with at least 55% marks CSIR/ UGC-NET in Life Sciences/ PU Ph.D Entrance Test
Interested candidates can send their application, along with complete biodata and attested copies of the necessary certificates indicating the date of birth, marks in qualifying examination and the proof of NET/PU Ph. D Entrance examination, to the undersigned latest by July 27th, 2009. Report for interview in the office of the Chairman, Department of Biotechnology, Panjab University, Chandigarh along with the original certificates [interview date and time will be conveyed through E-mail]. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The candidates who had already applied against the advertisement Ref. No. 1627/DBT dated 03.03.2009 & 43/DBT dated 16.04.2009, need not apply again.
