A walk-in interview will be held on 25.08.2011 at 10:00 hrs. at National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Lucknow for the following post on contractual basis under the project titled "Assessment of aquatic health using recent cellular and molecular tools in endocrine research" under the Council of Science and Technology, Uttar Pradesh. Only Indian citizens who are resident of Uttar Pradesh. Eligible and desirous candidate fulfilling all the requirements should come for an interview with application giving full details of academic records and experience(s) alongwith attested photocopy as well as original copy of the relevant documents and a passport size photograph. The other details are as follows:

Name of the Position: Research Assistant

Duration: 03 years

Emoluments: `12,000/- per month for two years & `14,000/- per month for 3rd year.

Age: Not above 28 years as on April 1st 2011

Qualification: Essential: A first class M.F.Sc./M.Sc. Zoology (with Fish & Fisheries)/M.Sc. (Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Environmental Science) with at least 60% marks at graduate and post graduate levels.

Desirable: Some working experience in histological, hormonal and molecular aspects in fishes.
