National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI) a premier Research Institute under the aegis of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (an autonomous Organization under Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India), proposes to appoint talented academics and researchers under the Scheme ‘ Quick Recruitment of Scientists (Fellows) for Major Research Projects’ tenable at NGRI, Hyderabad. Applications in the prescribed format are invited for the following positions from bright and eligible Indian Nationals with excellent and consistent academic record, a high degree of motivation and propose to take up research in Earth Science as a career. The applicants should have a proven record of independent research as demonstrated by publications and / or other professional accomplishments.

Application duly filled in and duly supported by attested copies of all relevant Certificates including Community Certificate (in the case of SC/ST/OBC candidates), appropriate Certificate issued by the competent authority in case of physically challenged candidates, passport size photograph of the individual should be sent so as to reach the Controller of Administration on or before 10/06/2011.
