Visvesvaraya Iron & Steel Plant, Bhadravati, a unit of Steel Authority of India Limited, is looking for competent personnel for recruitment to the following posts:

Operator – cum - Technician – Trainees

Pass in Matriculation with three years full time Diploma in Engineering with 60% aggregate marks in Metallurgy, Mechanical (Gen.), Electrical and Electronics, Instrumentation Technology, Civil, Ceramics.(50% marks in aggregate for SC/ST candidates).

Jr.Operator – cum - Technician - Trainees

Pass in Matriculation with 60% aggregate marks in ITI in Fitter, Machinist, Turner, Electrician, Welder Trade (50% marks in aggregate for SC/ST candidates).

The online registration site would be open from 7/2/2011 to 26/2/2011

All information regarding examination schedule / admit card / interview etc., shall be provided through speed post / registered post/e-mail..

After on-line registration, application in the prescribed format alongwith copies of Matriculation, ITI/Diploma, Caste Certificate, PH Certificate and Demand Draft (hard copy) should be sent through ordinary post so as to reach the Manager-Personnel (Employee Services), SAIL-Visvesvaraya Iron & Steel Plant, Bhadravathi-577 301, Shivamogga District, Karnataka State latest by 07.03.2011.
