Technical Officer I - ( Reserved For OBC )

Qualification : First or high second class M.Sc. degree in Physics/ Maths / Geophysics / Electronics or B.E. (Electronics)

Experience : 2 years in the relevant field in reputed Research Laboratory/Institute/University

Associate Professor - 1 Post (UR)

Qualification : A First class Master’s degree in Physics/Geophysics or Maths (applied)

Experience : Atleast 10 years work experience in Geomagnetism and allied fields including instrumentation and computer

Desirable: i) Ph.D. in topics related to Geomagnetism, Aeronomy and allied fields. (ii)Evidence of ability to lead a group and carry out independent research work of high quality, such as, an outstanding record of published work.

Hindi Translator( For A Period Of One Year Extendable Upto Maximum Of 2 Years)

Master's degree from a recognised University in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a main subject at the Degree level OR Master's degree from a recognised University in any subject with Hindi as the Medium of examination and English as a compulsory subject at Degree level

Or

Bachelor's degree with Hindi and English as main subject or either of the two as medium of examination and other as a main subject plus recognised Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central Government Offices, including Government of India Undertakings.

Knowledge of operating Hindi application software packages on computer is desirable.
