Director General

Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS)
Pay Band (PB 4) (Rs. 37400-67000) with Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000/-)

From (i) officers of All India/Central Civil Services working on an analogous post and having previous experience of working in youth affairs, sports, culture or similar sectors; or (ii) an eminent person from public field holding a post graduate degree with at least 12 years experience of working in the field of youth development and voluntary action in leadership position.

Director General is the Chief Executive Officer of the NYKS which seeks to channelise the youth in voluntarism and nation building through network of its 501 Kendras, 28 zonal offices and over 3 lakh village based youth clubs.
