Recruitment of one Craftsman-cum-Model Maker under the project entitled ‘Maths Programme for Early Primary Grades’ in Group Arithmetic, DESM

The Department of Education in Science and Mathematics will hold a walk-in interview to recruit one Craftsman-cum-Model Maker on temporary basis in the project entitled ‘Maths Programme for Early Primary Grades’. The terms and conditions for recruitment to the post of Craftsman-cum-Model Maker are as follows:

1. Qualifications:

Essential:

(i) Passed Class 10th from recognized Board or University
(ii) Training in a craft or a skill
(iii) Minimum 1 to 2 years experience of developing pedagogic material for children

Desirable: Evidence of some creative/innovative work done in making learning material for children

2. Emoluments: Rs. 15,000/- (consolidated) p.m.
3. Tenure of work: Up to 31st March 2010
4. Date & Time of Interview: 9.10.2009 (Friday) at 11.00 a.m.
5. Venue of Interview: Chamber of Joint Director, NCERT

Note:

(1) The candidates should bring all their educational certificates in original at the time of interview.
(2) The post is purely temporary with no provision of increment in the emoluments.
(3) The candidates already in job should forward their application through their employer.
