Employment of Specialists on contract from India

Applications are invited from qualified Specialists who wish to be considered for employment on contract with the Ministry of Health and Quality of Life in the Republic of Mauritius, in respect of the following fields

(1) General Medicine
(2) Anaesthesia
(3) Neonatal Medicine
(4) Ophthalmology
(5) Cardiology
(6) Plastic and Reconstruction Surgery
(7) Transplantation Renal Surgery
(8) Cardiac Surgery
(9) Paediatrics
(10) Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Qualifications:

Candidates should not be above 65 years of age and;

(a) be fully registered -

(i) as medical practitioners in accordance with section 22 of the Medical Council Act of the Republic of Mauritius; and

(ii) as Specialists in accordance with section 23 of the Medical Council Act of the Republic of Mauritius in the relevant fields of speciality.

(b) be able to communicate effectively and to interact with people at all
levels.

Candidates should submit their applications on the Prescribed Form along
with relevant copies of Professional Certificates to the undermentioned address
in either hard or soft copy within three weeks of the date of the advertisement
but not later than 16 00 hours on 31 August, 2009:
