Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC), invites applications for filling up a post of chief (legal) on deputation on foreign service terms/short term contract basis from employees of Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous bodies, universities, Recognized Research Institutions etc.

Post Chief (Legal)

Scale of Pay

Rs. 18400-500-22400(pre-revised)

Revised to Rs. 37400-67000+ Grade pay of Rs. 10000/- per month

Minimum Educational Qualification Degree in law preferably with specialization in regulation

Qualifying Service & Experience

Officers working in Government/Government organizations/universities/Recognized Research Institutions/PSUs :-

i. Holding analogous posts on regular basis, or

ii. Having 2 years regular service in scale of Rs. 16400-20000(Pre-revised) or equivalent, or

iii. Having 3 Years regular service in the scale of Rs. 14300-18300(Pre-revised) or equivalent, and Having experience on Judicial/Quasi-Judicial legal matters including proceedings, petitions, pleadings, listing of the case laws etc.

The applications as per pre prescribed format must reach the undersigned by 31st January, 2012
