Advertisement for Post of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor

Applications in the prescribed form are invited for the following posts:

1. 1. Professor(English Journalism)

2. 2. Professor( Hindi Journalism)

3. 3. Professor( Development Communication)

4. 4. Associate Professor( New Media)

5. 5. Associate Professor( Integrated Marketing Communication)

6. 6. Associate Professor( Communication & Media Research)

7. 7. Associate Professor( English Journalism) - Two Post

9. 8. Assistant Professor(( Advertising Media Planning)

10. 9. Assistant Professor (Hindi)- Reserved for Physically handicapped for Orthopedically category.

Pay Scales:

1. Professor: 37,400-67,000 with grade pay of Rs.10,000

2. Associate Professor: 37,400-67,000 with grade pay of Rs.9,000

3. Assistant Professor : 15,600-39,100 with grade pay of Rs.6,000

Application form can be obtained from Assistant Registrar, Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, New Delhi-110067 either in person or by post by sending self addressed and stamped (Rs.10/-) envelop (27x13 cms). Completed application form should be accompanied by attested copies of the certificates / testimonials and a Demand Draft for Rs. 200/- in favour of Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi and reserved candidates should send their attested copy of the Caste Certificate. Application form and full details regarding qualification, experience etc. can be downloaded from website www.iimc,gov.in . Last date for issue of application form is 14 October 2011 and receipt of completed application is 19th October 2011.
