Applications are invited from Indian citizens for filling up 33 posts of Assistant Sub. Inspector (Stenographer) Group C posts on temporary basis likely to be permanent in ITB Police. The posts have all India liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. On appointment, the candidate shall be governed by the ITBPF Act and Rules. Last date for receipt of applications is 22nd July 2010 for all States except for Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, and Ladakh Division of Jammu & Kashmir State, Lahaul-Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep for which last date is 29th July 2010.

Educational Qualifications:

(a) Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or equivalent.

(b) Minimum speed of 40 words per minutes in English typewriting or 30 words per minute in Hindi typewriting and a minimum speed of 80 words per minute in Shorthand English or Hindi.

(c) Should have basic knowledge of computer application.
