The Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya at Khairagarh in Chhattisgarh, is the oldest university of performing and visual arts in Southeast Asia. The post of Vice-Chancellor of this prestigious university is lying vacant at present. H.E. the Governor of Chhattisgarh and the Kuladhipati of the Vishwavidyalaya has constituted a committee to recommend a panel of names for this post.

The Committee hereby invites applications from persons with relevant qualification and experience for the post of Vice- Chancellor (Kulpati) of the Vishwavidyalaya. The maximum tenure of the post is four years or up to the age of 65, whichever is earlier. Application with necessary particulars should reach the following address by the 11th April, 2011. Selection by the Committee will not be limited to applications received in response to this advertisement and may include any other qualified person.
