Employment Notice

This has reference to our Employment Notification published in the Employment News/Rozgar Samachar dated 9-15 May, 2009 as well as in the Bank’s website calling for Applications from Indian Citizens to fill up total 261 vacancies in different Specialist Officers posts including 50 vacancies in the posts of Chartered Accountant in MMGS II and 25 vacancies in the posts of Chartered Accountant in MMGS III.

In this connection, applications are further invited from eligible candidates to fill up aforesaid notified vacancies in the posts of Chartered Accountant, who fulfill the Eligibility Criteria and other details as published in the aforesaid Employment Notification except that the upper age limit for the posts of Chartered Accountant in Scale II and Scale III is raised from 35 years to 40 years (with further relaxation in the upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/ Ex-servicemen candidates as per Govt. of India guidelines). The age limits will be reckoned as on 01.04.2009 as notified earlier.

How to Apply :

Those who have already submitted their application for the post of Chartered Accountant in Scale II / Scale III in response to our Employment Notification dated 9-15 May 2009 referred to above need not submit their application again .

The candidates who have not applied earlier can submit their applications subject to their fulfilling the eligibility criteria including the enhanced upper age limit as stated above following the instructions given in our Employment Notification dated 9-15 May, 2009 referred to above except that they are to submit their application in the prescribed format which is given in the Bank’s website and send their application complete in all respect along with Demand Draft / Bank Pay Order payable at Mumbai marked “A/c Payee Only” favouring “UCO Bank Specialist Officers Recruitment Project 2009” for Rs. 50/- (for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped candidates) or Rs. 250/- (for all others including OBC), as the case may be, by Registered post in a closed envelope superscribed “Application for the post of Chartered Accountant in UCO BANK” in the following address :

Last Date of Receipt of Applications at the aforesaid Address : 15 days from the date of Notification of this Notice in the Employment News/ Rozgar Samachar.

Applications received after the last date will not be entertained. The Bank will not be responsible for any loss of application in transit.

All other matters will be guided by our Employment Notification published in the Employment News dated 9-15 May, 2009 referred to above which is available in the Bank’s website.
