Applications are invited from candidates with the following qualifications to work full-time on a 3-year research project funded by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. Interested candidates may apply on the prescribed proforma (available at Osmania University Press) on or before July 30, 2009.

Qualifications:

1. Completed Post graduation in Linguistics / Applied Linguistics with a minimum of 55% marks

2. Should have passed UGC-NET.

3. Knowledge in Telugu, Hindi and English including reading and writing skills.

4. Experience in doing linguistic analysis using computers and / or use of Indian Language corpora.

Selected candidate will receive a monthly salary of Rs.15,600/-. The appointment is for one year from the date of joining. Renewal is based on performance in the first year. Completed applications may be sent to the address mentioned below:
