The “University of Calcutta – Calcutta Stock Exchange – Centre of Excellence in Financial Markets” (CUCSE-CEFM) has been established with the major objectives of encouraging literacy, awareness and research in the diversified areas of finance. The Centre is presently focusing on the three thrust areas comprising capital market, financial inclusiveness and ethics in financial markets through undertaking research activities, publications and conducting certification programmes. The centre plans to award Scholarships to two research students in the fields of financial market.

Accordingly, two research fellows are required for the CUCSE-CEFM under the Department of Commerce, University of Calcutta in accordance with UGC Rules. The centre is funded by CSE Investor Protection Fund. The research fellowship is for a period of three years, extendable only on evaluation of performance.

Eligibility: The candidate must be (i) NET/SET/SLET qualified; and (ii) must have secured 55% in M.COM / M.A or M.Sc in Economics/MBA/MBM, with specialisation in Accounting, Economics and Finance from a UGC-recognised University.

Fellowship will be Rs.14,000/- p.m. plus 15% HRA throughout the stipulated period as sanctioned by the funding agency, i.e., CUCSE-CEFM.

Punjab Infrastructure Development Board headed by the Chief Minister Punjab and designated agency of the State engaged in the development of Infrastructure invites applications for one post each of Assistant General Manager (Finance), Assistant General Manager (Projects) and Assistant General Manager (Architecture & Planning) on contract basis. The appointment will be for an initial period of five years and can be extended.The persons so appointed will be paid a Gross remuneration of Rs. 75,000/- per month with a 10% annual increase.

The candidates should possess following minimum educational qualifications from very reputed institutions:-
