Essential qualifications & experience

A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register;

DM/M.Ch (03 years) or DM/M.Ch (02 years) with one year teaching experience in the concerned speciality or equivalent from a recognized Medical College/ Teaching Institution.

Three year's teaching experience in the concerned speciality as Resident / Registrar/ Demonstrator/ Tutor in a recognized Medical College / Teaching Institution.

Consolidated (Fixed Emoluments):

The Medical Faculty Staff appointed on contractual basis will be paid the following consolidated contractual emoluments per month in pursuance of instructions issued by Department of Personnel, Chandigarh Administration: - Rs.70,300/-

Application Fee:

The Application Fee in the shape of Bank Draft for a sum of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) in the case of General Category and Other Backward Class candidates and Rs.25/- (Rupees Twenty Five Only) for the Scheduled Castes candidates, in favour of the Director Principal, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector-32, Chandigarh, payable at Chandigarh must accompany the application for the post/each post. Application received without prescribed fee will be summarily rejected. Fee once remitted shall not be refunded.

Applications in the prescribed Application Proforma alongwith self attested copies of all the certificates/testimonials and other documents, recent photograph and Application Fee in a sealed cover superscribing “Application for the post of ___________________” should reach the office of Director Principal, Room No. 213, Block ‘D’, Hospital Building, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector-32-B, Chandigarh by 07.03.2012 upto 05.00 P.M.
