National Institute of Technology, Rourkela invites applications from Indian Nationals, possessing excellent academic background along with sufficient working experience for the following temporary positions on contract basis.

Stipendiary Engineers (Civil/Electrical/Architecture)

Remuneration : Rs.11,000/-to Rs.12,500/-per month Consolidated depending upon experience

Essential Qualification: Diploma in Civil/Electrical Engineering/Architecture

Desirable for Civil/Architecture : Knowledge of computer applications, experience in design & estimation, construction & maintenance of buildings, roads, drains, structural work, interior and all kinds of finishing works including sanitary and plumbing works and {Planning & Construction (for Architecture)}.

Desirable for Electrical :Knowledge of computer applications, experience in operation & maintenance of HT substation, testing of relays, switchgears, power transformers and instrument transformers, planning, design and estimation of a power system and also internal electrical works of large infrastructure projects, operation & maintenance of diesel generator set & AMF panel.

Age : Must be Below 23 years as on 01.08.2012

Stipendiary Assistants

Remuneration : Rs.7,500/- to Rs.8,500/-per month Consolidated depending upon skill and experience.

Essential Qualification : Vocational course of minimum 1 year duration in Computer Application/ Secretarial Practice/ Office Management/Journalism
