Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC), a Statutory Body constituted under an Act of Parliament, invites applications for filling up of a post of Chief(Legal) on deputation on foreign service terms/short terms contract from employees of Central/State Governments, Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous Bodies, Universities, Recognized Research Institutions etc. The scale of pay and qualifications etc. of the post are given
below:

Post Chief (Legal)

Scale of Pay Minimum Rs.18400-500-22400 (pre-revised) Revised to PB-4: Rs.37400-67000 +

Grade pay of Rs.10,000/-per month

Educational Qualification Degree in Law preferably with specialization in regulation

The application as per prescribed format given in Annexure, duly completed and signed must reach the undersigned by 31st January, 2012. The applications must be routed through proper channel. The sponsoring authorities are requested to forward the applications of eligible and interested candidates whose services can be spared in the event of their selection. While forwarding applications, attested copies of latest five years Annual Confidential Reports/APARs and Vigilance Clearance Certificate of the candidates concerned may be attached.
