Applications are invited on plain paper from the eligible candidates for the following temporary post in the UGC sanctioned Major Research Project titled “Characterisation and hydrodynamic study on nanofluids”

Project Fellow : One position (co-terminus with the project)

Duration : 3 years

Emoluments : Rs 8000/- per month (fixed)

Essential Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering with at least 60% marks. Age below 40 years

Desirable : M.E/M.Tech in Chemical/Mechanical Engg/GATE/PU Ph.D Entrance Test qualified candidates will be preferred.

Interested candidates can send their application, along with complete biodata and attested copies of the necessary certificates indicating the Date of Birth, marks in qualifying examinations and the proof of GATE/PU Ph.D Entrance examination to the undersigned by October 28th, 2011.The interview will be held on November 04th,2011 at 3.00 p.m. in the office of Director, Energy Research Centre, Panjab University, Chandigarh. The candidates should present their original certificates at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. No separate interview letters will be issued. The appointment shall be governed by the relevant rules and regulations as laid down by Panjab University and/or UGC, New Delhi. The appointment will be initially for one year, subject to extension after evaluation by the concerned authorities.
