Applications are invited on plain paper from eligible candidates latest by Aug23, 2011 for the temporary Position given below, under the U.G.C. Project entitled “Some efficient statistical sampling strategies in agricultural, medical or biological sciences” in the Department of Statistics, University of Lucknow, Lucknow. The appointment will be made purely on a temporary basis for three years up to the end of the project. The appointment can be terminated at any given time without notice or without assigning any reason thereof. The persons engaged shall not be entitled for any claim implicit or explicit for absorption in the University.

1. Name of the Post: Project Fellow (one)

2. Remuneration: Rs.8,000/‐ Per Month.

3. Qualification:

i) Essential: M.A. /M.Sc. in Statistics with minimum 55% marks.

ii) Desirable: Hands‐on experience in statistical computer software such as SPSS/STATA etc.
