National Informatics Centre (NIC), a premier IT organization of Government of India invites young IT professionals to join its ranks to take up challenging assignment in the domain of e-Governance.
Post & Scale of Pay : Scientific Officer/Engineer-SB (Programmer) in the pay scale of Rs. 9300 - 34800 (PB2) Grade Pay 4600 with usual allowances like DA, HRA etc. as per Government of India orders from time to time (Total emoluments Rs.33,439/-p.m. approximately in ‘A’ Class cities). The place of posting can be anywhere in the country.
No. of Vacancies : Total – 62 (Sixty Two) ( SC : 6 ST : 9 , OBC : 16 , UR : 31 )
Qualification and Experience:
(a) B.E./B.Tech/MCA with first class or minimum 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent and specialization in Computer Science/Computer related areas;
or
(b) M.Sc in Computer Science with first class or at least 60% marks or equivalent;
or
(c) Master’s degree in Physics/Maths/Statistics/Operation Research with either Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from a Govt. recognized institution/University or at least three years of experience in the areas indicated under Job Description is essential. The Master’s degree and Post Graduate Diploma should be with minimum 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade.
