Punjab Public Service Commission

The Punjab Public Service Commission invites Applications from eligible Candidates for recruitment to 04 posts of District Programme Officer in the Department of Social Security and Development of Women and Children Punjab.

The number of vacancies is 04 and the breakup is as follows

District Programme Officer

Qualification (i) Should possess Master's Degree in any of the Social Science subjects viz, Sociology, Social Work, Economics, Anthropology, Home Science or Nutrition, from a recognized University or Institution.

(ii) Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard

Qualification of Punjabi is essential for these posts (relaxable for Sikh Migrants upto the extent that they will have to acquire such qualification within two years after joining the service failing which their services shall liable to be terminated). For this purpose a Matriculation or its equivalent certificate for having passed Punjabi will be necessary.
