2. Minimum educational qualification required Degree in Law or Master Degree in Language

3. Scale of pay (PB-2) Rs. 5200-20200/- (G.P. 2600/-)

Applications in the Standard Form as published in Part-IX of the Assam Gazette with photocopies of all testimonials from HSLC examination onwards in support of age, educational qualification, caste etc. declaring by self as ‘certified to be true copy’ of the original alongwith 2 (two) copies of duly signed recent passport size photographs accompanied by a Treasury Challan of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred) in case of general category candidates and Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty) in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST deposited under head of Accounts “0070-Other Administrative Services-60-Other Services-800-Other receipts (Examination Fee)”should reach the office of the undersigned on or before 7.3.2011 positively. The candidates should superscribe “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF JUNIOR GRADE TRANSLATOR” at the top of the envelope containing the application form. Application received after the due date will not be accepted. Candidates already in Government Service should apply through proper channel or attach ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their respective employers.
