Applications are invited from eligible candidates for appointment to the posts of Marine Engineers on regular basis. Details are as follows :-

1. No. of vacancies : 5 ( 1-SC , 1 ST, 1-OBC, 2 UR )

2. Age limit : 40 years.(Relaxable as per Gov. rules.)

3 Scale of pay : Rs. 29100-54500 (Revised)

4. Eligibility criteria (i) MOT Ist class Motor Certificate issued under Merchant Shipping Act, 1958 . (ii) One year post Qualification experience as Chief Engineer/2nd Engineer on Board a Foreign Going Ship.

Applicants should submit complete Bio-data alongwith attested copies of the documents to prove age, qualification, experience, caste, etc. Those who are employed shall forward the applications through proper channel. The Port reserves the right to short-list applicants for interview based on appropriate criteria.
