Mizoram University is a Central University being set up on modern standards with excellent academic infrastructure and research facilities including a Central Analytical and Preparatory Facility consisting of sophisticated equipments.Mizoram is one of the most peaceful states in the country despite being located in the NER. Aizawl is connected by Air from Kolkatta and Guwahati (daily flights). Nearest railhead is at Silchar (180 km). The climate is mild both in summer and winter.

Complete application as per the prescribed format appearing at Annexure - IIalong with application fee of ` 500.00 in the form of Bank Draft drawn in favour of Registrar, Mizoram University on State Bank of India, Aizawl Main Branch may be submitted to the Deputy Registrar, Administration-I, Recruitment Cell, Mizoram University, Post Box No.190, Aizawl, Mizoram - 796 004. SC, ST and Physically Handicapped applicants are fully exempted from payment of the prescribed fees.

Last date of receipt of complete application is 04/03/2011. For candidates outside North-Eastern States, the last date of receipt of complete application is 17/03/2011
