In supersession of the earlier advertisements No.3/2008 (Estt.I), 7/2008 (Estt.I), No.10/2008 (Estt.I), No.14/2008 (Estt.I), No. 10/2009 (Estt.I), No.11/2009 (Estt.I) , No.15/2009 (Estt.I) and No.16/EI(2)/PGI/2009, the number of posts of faculty and Group 'A' posts to be filled now are as under for which applications on the prescribed form are invited from the citizens of India :-

I. PROFESSORS: 17 (Seventeen)

Pay Scale : Rs.37400-67000 (Pay Band-4)+ Grade Pay Rs.10500/- with minimum pay of Rs.51600/-

II. ADDITIONAL PROFESSOR: 4 (Four)

Pay Scale : Rs.37400-67000 (Pay Band-4)+ Grade Pay Rs.9500/- with minimum pay of Rs.46,000/-

III. ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: 3 ( THREE )

Pay Scale : Rs.37400-67000 (Pay Band-4)+ Grade Pay Rs.9000/- with minimum pay of Rs.42,800/-

IV. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR: 153 (One hundred fifty three only)

Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 (Pay Band-3)+ Grade Pay Rs.8000/- with minimum pay of Rs.30,000/-

The application forms and other information viz qualification, experience and age limit etc. can be obtained from the Committee Branch either personally or on written request accompanied by a self addressed stamped (Rs.10/-) envelop (27 cm x 12 cm) along with payment of Rs. 525/- by Demand Draft in favour of Director, PGIMER, Chandigarh (Rs. 275/- for SC/ST candidates), payable at SBI Branch, Sector 12 (Code No.1524), as non refundable fee and cost of application form etc.
