IGNOU invites applications to fill up the following position purely on contract basis initially for a period of `one year’, for the PG Diploma in HIV Medicine Programme for MBBS doctors through distance mode at School of Health Sciences, IGNOU, New Delhi

Consultant (Programme officer)- (one)

a. Qualifications and Experience: MD in Community Medicine

b. Responsibility: Programme development, implementation and monitoring.

c. Emoluments (Consolidated): Rs.50,000/- per month

Other terms and conditions

1. The contract the position will be for one year. The contract engagement to these positions shall not be part of the regular cadres nor any special preferential treatment would be given to such contractual staff in the matter of recruitment to regular posts.

2. The contract engagement shall have no vested right prior to and after the completion of the contract period to ask for regularization/absorption in IGNOU.
