Applications are invited for one post of Senior Project Associate for a sponsored project of the DBT entitled "Structure-function relationship in a circularly permuted GTPase from Mycobacterium tuberculosis" at BSBE Department, IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification : M.Sc Ist division with 4 year experience

Desirable : Experience in cloning, expression, protein purification, site-directed mutagenesis, ultracentrifugation & density gradient fractionation and phosphoryl transfer assays. Experience in protein characterization, crystallization and structure determination as part of a project.

Salary Range : Rs. 12,000-24,000 per month

The post is purely temporary for three months and can be extended for one year on the basis of performance.
